1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rental Cars Brunei ("RCB", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's licence recognised in Brunei Darussalam to book a vehicle. Hosts must own or have legal authority to rent out the listed vehicle.
3. Bookings & Payments
- All bookings are subject to host and admin confirmation.
- Payment must be made via approved bank transfer; proof of payment is required.
- Bookings are confirmed only after RCB verifies the payment.
- Delivery fees and add-ons are non-refundable once the trip begins.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations are governed by our tiered refund policy:
- 7+ days before pickup: 100% refund
- 3–6 days before pickup: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days: No refund
Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after admin approval.
5. Renter Responsibilities
- Return the vehicle in the same condition as received.
- Pay for any damage, fines, or fuel shortages incurred during the rental period.
- Provide a valid handover code at pickup.
6. Host Responsibilities
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, insured, and accurately described.
- Conduct check-in and check-out inspections with photographic evidence.
- Honour confirmed bookings unless cancelled with valid cause.
7. Platform Commission
RCB charges hosts a commission on each completed booking. Payouts are issued after the trip is marked complete and any disputes are resolved.
8. Liability
RCB acts as a marketplace connecting renters and hosts. We are not liable for personal injury, vehicle damage, or third-party claims arising from individual rentals beyond the limits stated in our policies.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brunei.
